Assignment Overview
A school in Brookline is a specialized school serving approximately 35 students with cognitive impairments. The school is well staffed and supportive, with 10 dedicated 1:1 nurses and 3 general school nurses on site. This role offers a collaborative environment and strong clinical support.
The LPN will provide 1:1 nursing care for a 15-year-old male student who:
Parents will come to the school to provide training specific to the student's care.
Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 nursing support throughout the school day

Safely transport the student from home in South Brookline to BC Campus , and back home at the end of the day

AM bus run time is built into the shift

PM run includes an additional 30 minutes to allow for transport home

Monitor and manage medical needs including G-tube care, oxygen support, and seizure response

Collaborate with school nurses and staff to ensure continuity of care
